Product availability
All orders for products are subject to availability. Should there be any delay in delivering your goods we will inform you. If for any reason the manufacturers have discontinued a product or range, if we cannot provide a satisfactory substitute we will refund your money.

Prices
The prices quoted are correct at the time of production but may have to be altered up or down, including any alteration to the rate of VAT, due to circumstances beyond our control.

All prices are shown in Sterling, inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to reject an order if we have mistakenly published an incorrect price.

Payment
We accept payment by Paypal which accepts all major credit and debit cards or cheques which should be made payable to Sampan Traders and sent to Sampan Traders:

Please note that orders will be despatched after cheques have cleared.

Delivery
Please allow 5 days for delivery. If an item is not in stock and / or delivery is likely to be longer than 5 days we will inform you before confirming the order. All deliveries require a signature upon receipt so please specify an alternative address for delivery if required. Delivery within the U.K. will typically be charged at £5.95 but for heavy consignments individual prices will be agreed before despatch.

Cancellations, returns and exchanges
We hope you are happy with all your purchases from Sampan Traders but should a particular item prove unsuitable or you are not entirely satisfied, provided you notify us within 7 days of receipt and return the item to us within 14 days , unused and in its original packaging and in perfect condition, you will be entitled to a refund or replacement. Please ensure that it is packed and labelled carefully so that it is not lost or damaged in transit, as the goods are at your risk until they are received by us.

Please note that refunds will not be given on items personalised for you.

If you wish to change or cancel an order please phone us on 07970800385 or email us on info@sampantraders.co.uk, quoting your order number, which will be found on the confirmation email you will have received. Please note that we cannot accept cancellation on certain made to order items once manufacture has commenced. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Descriptions
Every care has been taken to ensure that all descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct. Measurements given are approximate. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of colour reproduction, colour may vary in accordance with the settings of your monitor, software or printer.

As most items are hand-made from natural materials there will be slight variations from item to item and any minor marks, blemishes and fissures should be regarded as a characteristic of the items concerned.

Security
We use a server certificate to assure you of our identity and secure sockets to encrypt data transmissions. This ensures that all reasonable steps are taken to protect your personal information. However, the nature of the internet means that an absolute guarantee of security cannot be given and there is a small security risk in exceptional circumstances when disclosing information on-line.

Privacy policy
When you place an order with us you will be asked to provide certain information such as your name, address, credit card details and e-mail address etc. to enable us to fulfil your order, contact you (if necessary) and inform you of any special offers.

We will not pass your information to any other company or firm for mailing or marketing purposes. However, please note that we are obliged, if requested by the police or any other regulatory or Government authority investigating suspected illegal activities, to release information to them.

General
No order is binding on you or Sampan Traders until we have accepted it.

You will own the items we supply you from the moment they are put in the hands of the postal service, or with our carriers, or on payment in full of the price of the Goods and any delivery charge, whichever is later.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

Sales from this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
